As the world gears up for WWE Money in the Bank, talks of how WWE can shake things up at this PLE go wilder than ever. As reports suggest, WWE might try and get a couple of their heavy-hitters in the mix to jumpstart the momentum that has been on a decline since WrestleMania 41. The event will witness the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match featuring the likes of Seth Rollins, Andrade, LA Knight, Penta, Solo Sikoa and El Grande Americano.
The women’s Money in the Bank match would comprise Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Naomi and Stephanie Vaquer. Apart from these two bouts, Lyra Valkyria will fight Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental championship with John Cena will tag team with Logan Paul to face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
Why does Vince Russo feel that even the return of Brock Lesnar can’t save WWE right now?

The equation since WrestleMania 41 has been all over the place. With a damp finish in Las Vegas, the momentum that was built by the Stamford-based company has continued to hit new lows. With the Money in the Bank approaching, there has been a suppressed rumour that The Beast Incarnate’s return might be on the cards.
However, to what avail might the return serve, that is still a question that will need some soul-searching by WWE, as per Vince Russo. Talking on Sportskeeda’s Legion of Raw, Russo highlighted that Brock Lesnar’s return might be massive, but it doesn’t serve any purpose in terms of storylines. He questioned the conclusion of the story, even if Lesnar does return.’
I don’t know. Save this whole thing? How? Save what? So he comes in and beats Cena and it’s over? WWE is great again with these types of shows? No.
The Beast Incarnate has been away from the screens ever since the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant held him accountable alongside Vince McMahon about sexual allegations. There were earlier reports of him returning to the company as well. However, the Beast never materialised. Ever since WWE pitted Cody Rhodes against heel John Cena, the storyline has been pretty messy.
There were wild speculations about how The Rock might actually chime in at the Grandest Shows of all. However, nothing of that sort happened and eventually, on the Pat McAfee Show, The Rock said that he wanted all the limelight on the American Nightmare and John Cena. He suggested finessing the end of the match differently had he been present.
Since then, John Cena has already defended his title twice, however, the crowd hasn’t been pleased about it. Cena has gone onto beat Randy Orton and R-Truth at WWE Backlash and Saturday Night Main Event, respectively. He will be taking on the duo of Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes with Logan Paul by his side, which the fans believe can be the starting point of another reignited rivalry between the American Nightmare and the leader of Cenation.
What is inside the Money in the Bank briefcase?

Over the years, the superstars who have won the Money in the Bank contract have created the suspense about what is in the gilded suitcase. The Money in the Bank was introduced by former WWE superstar Chris Jericho in 2005. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Damian Priest, the winner of the contract in 2023, revealed that it was just an indenture inside the briefcase.
Back in 2010, while The Miz held up the briefcase, it popped open by accident, and it was revealed to be empty. In another instance, after Brock Lesnar won the 2018 Ladder match, he had one customized for himself and put a music system in it. At that point in time, ‘Brock Party’ was a predominant theme in the company.
Even though no concrete response of what the suitcase actually contains has been made, yet the speculations remain supreme. Similarly, Brock is coming to save the day or not remains a speculation; possible rumours suggest that Roman Reigns might just drop by for the first time since the Raw after Mania in California.
