John Cena is hands down one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step into the ring. Over the years, he’s been a huge reason behind WWE becoming a global phenomenon. He’s been the face of the company for ages, but it looks like the time has come for him to call it a career. Right now, Cena is on his farewell tour, with just 19 more shows left before he officially retires.
Fans had high hopes for this tour, but unfortunately, things aren’t going as expected. Triple H’s handling of it so far has been pretty disappointing, and with his latest move, it seems like he’s completely messed up Cena’s farewell.
Triple H might ruin John Cena’s farewell tour with this matchup

John Cena and Logan Paul were recently defeated by Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in this year’s MITB tag team match, thanks to some well-timed interference from R-Truth. After the event, Cena showed up on the first episode of Monday Night RAW, sticking to his usual post-heel-turn routine—blaming the fans for everything going wrong and for pushing WWE to bring back R-Truth.
While Cena was in the middle of his rant, CM Punk made a surprise appearance and threw down a challenge, offering to fight Cena any day he chooses.
John Cena accepted but made it clear he’d only face Punk in Saudi Arabia on the Night of Champions, knowing full well how much Punk despises Saudi Arabia because of its notorious human rights issues. Fans came up with mixed reactions, but most of them seemed utterly disappointed with the timing and location of the fight.

It’ll be exciting to see how things play out and whether Triple H can pull off a solid matchup. However, we can’t overlook the Seth Rollins factor, he dropped a big hint on the last episode of RAW about possibly cashing in his MITB briefcase during the Night of Champions main event.
CM Punk is facing backlash for agreeing to a fight in Saudi Arabia

CM Punk is catching a ton of heat for agreeing to fight Cena in Saudi Arabia, especially since he’s been super outspoken about his hatred for WWE holding events there, calling it a money grab. He even went off on The Miz for competing in Saudi Arabia before, but now, the tables have turned; Punk himself is set to wrestle in the very place he’s criticized for years.
Fans are tearing him apart for it, but at the end of the day, these guys are professionals locked into contracts, which means sometimes they don’t have much of a choice. Punk has always steered clear of fighting in Saudi Arabia, but this time, John Cena, fully embracing his heel persona, made sure Punk had no other option but to accept a showdown there.
Sure, the location is unexpected and probably not ideal for such a high-stakes match, but the matchup has immense potential and can easily turn into a fight worth remembering. Triple H might be rolling the dice with this one, and now it’s just a question of whether it will make him a fan favorite or end up hurting his position in WWE.
