The Strongest Attack in One Piece Yet: It’s Not Garp’s Galaxy Impact or Kaido’s Flame Bagua

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is full of explosive battles. These clashes between pirates, Marines, and Emperors shape the seas and are full of creative attacks. While a few of these attacks are meant to deal severe damage, a few others are used with the motive of restraining the opponent. The One Piece fan community often debates the most devastating attack in the series.

Sure, moves like Garp’s Galaxy Impact can destroy a large mountain, and Kaido’s Flame Bagua can scorch Luffy. Still, one attack eclipses them all: Conquest of the Sea, the attack unleashed by Big Mom and Kaido during the Onigashima Raid. This technique redefines destruction in the One Piece universe. Let’s see why this attack stands as the series’ strongest.

No power in One Piece can match the ‘Conquest of the Sea’

Big Mom and Kaido are two of the strongest beings in One Piece. The two were considered to be the strongest Emperors, and their individual attacks were enough to shake Onigashima. On top of that, Big Mom is said to be just as strong as Kaido (the ones who can feel her haki call her a second Kaido). Conquest of the Sea is a testament to the synergy between these two emperors (Shanks needs to step up).

Their alliance birthed an attack unlike any other: a colossal energy sphere radiating pure Haki. No one could have thought that haki could be moulded to form such an attack. This wasn’t a physical strike but a manifestation of their indomitable wills, amplified by their mastery of Conqueror’s Haki. The attack was enough to make all the Supernovas shudder in fear (Zoro had a great moment, though).

This was the strongest attack in One Piece. Several other attacks have made their debut since then, but none of them have been able to match the destruction of this attack. Sure, Garp’s Galaxy Impact might use physical strength and Haki to crater battleships, and Kaido’s Flame Bagua might be his strongest move, but Conquest of the Sea transcends them.

Conquest Of The Sea has to be the most powerful attack so far

The attack was used against the Supernovas (Luffy, Law, Kidd, Killer, and Zoro) on the roof of Onigashima. The sheer aura of the was so destructive that it began to melt through the ground with its power, and pushed back the Supernovas.

Just in case you forgot, the Japanese name for the attack is “Hakai( 破壊)”, which literally means destruction. While the attack didn’t kill any of the Supernovas, it did injure Zoro to the point where he couldn’t move for a good while, and that’s saying something when you take his durability into account. There is also the fact that performing it requires two Emperors at their peak, a feat no single character can ever replicate.

Why ‘Conquest of the Sea’ outshines other attacks like Galaxy Impact

All the Garp fans are going to come after us after reading this, but even they have to accept that the Conquest of the Sea is an attack that outshines everything else. Garp’s Galaxy Impact, which he used on Blackbeard’s home turf, is a Haki-infused punch that obliterates fleets and shakes islands. Make no mistake, we aren’t calling him weak.

It is an awe-inspiring feat that shows just how far a human can come in One Piece by relying on haki. However, it lacks the synergistic Haki amplification of Big Mom and Kaido’s attack. Two is better than one in this case. It’s the same case with Kaido’s Rising Dragon Flame Bagua. It may have scorched Luffy, but it ain’t beating a combined attack from two Emperors. We are pretty sure that the Conquest of the Seas would have wiped out the Supernovas if Zoro hadn’t stepped in. That’s how strong it was.

The fact that all the Supernovas (including Luffy and Zoro) were shuddering from its effects should speak volumes about its strength. Luffy faced countless Baguas and Ragnarakus in his fight with Kaido, but none of them made him react the way Conquest of the Sea did. No single attack in One Piece matches this Haki-driven devastation.

Conquest of the Sea is the pinnacle of destructive power in One Piece. It is a move that combines the might of Big Mom and Kaido into a single attack, and it surpasses Garp’s Galaxy Impact and Kaido’s Flame Bagua. As One Piece progresses, new attacks may emerge, but for now, Conquest of the Sea reigns supreme.

One Piece is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
