The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul is explaining her recent absences at Miami Swim Week, CMA Fest and a tour of Europe.
“I had to choose between Miami swim week, cma fest, Europe tour OR this…” Taylor, 31, wrote on a video shared via TikTok on Friday, June 6, showing the single mom tending to a child or children off-camera during bath time.
“I have fomo lately but chose this instead for the sake of my mental health and moments I won’t ever get back,” the reality TV star captioned the post. The video was set to the country song “Worst Way” by Riley Green, which Taylor also lip synched to in the video.
Taylor recently broke her silence after her public split from Dakota Mortensen, sharing a video via Instagram on Monday, June 2, of her and the former couple’s 12-month-old son, Ever. (Taylor also shares two children with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.)

“Helping me pack for somewhere new,” she wrote. “At least I got an angel out of it.”
She continued in the caption,”If it took all this pain to just get him, I’d do it again.”
In the comments section of her post, she defended her decision to post about her post-breakup life.
“I have no shame,” she wrote. “If you can post happiness, you can post sadness too. [I am] processing pain and yes I want a fresh start.”
Taylor’s public absences and candid social media posts comes after her ex addresses widespread speculation that he was expecting another child with someone else.

“No babies on the way,” Dakota wrote via TikTok in May. “I am not having a kid with anybody. I haven’t slept with anyone since I have dated Taylor until now. If anybody wants to try to prove that wrong, by all means be my guest.”
He continued, “I Just wanted to clear the air because there’s a few girls out here that said they are even pregnant with my child. Lots of crazy stuff but anyways, no baby coming!”
Taylor and Dakota have been navigating their coparenting relationship since splitting before production started on season 2 of the hit Hulu series. The pair first started dating in Season 1.
On the same day Dakota addressed those pregnancy rumors, Taylor also weighed in on the drama.
“A girl claiming to be having his baby as I’m putting myself in timeout for actually being his bm [baby mama],” she wrote via TikTok at the time. “I think it’s a joke, I sure hope so.”
