I am asked this in almost every interview still. Once Ron Slinker gave me the name, ‘Rob Van Dam,’ after that, now I’m used to hearing people say that, some people think I’m him.
Additionally, RVD clarified that he and Jean Claude Van Damme are so unrelated that the former WWE wrestler only had a brief interaction with the Belgian kick boxer at a Venice Gold’s Gym.
Despite that, people continuously like to hold on to the idea that the two professionals are somehow related. Rob Van Dam also talked about an incident with his mother where an unidentified person questioned the reason behind the facial similarities between them if they are not brothers.
Apart from his discussion about Jean-Claude Van Damme, several other points were addressed by RVD during the conversation. The most interesting chat, however, was about John Cena turning heel and his match against RVD at One Night Stand.
