One Punch Man Season 3 Drops Key Visuals for Two Incredibly Dangerous Monsters Yet to Make Anime Debut

As the release of One Punch Man season 3 draws closer with every passing month, the anticipation and concerns of the fandom continue to rise. In the meantime, the anime has been releasing new visuals every month. It’s a project that has been going on for more than a year now. First, it was the heroes, now we have the villains taking the spotlight.

This month, the designs for two incredibly strong villains have been released, as they’re likely to appear in the upcoming season. These villains are Gums and Evil Mineral Water. This reveal adds to the excitement, but fans are still questioning why we don’t have a proper trailer yet.

One Punch Man season 3 reveals the design for two new villains

The key visuals project kicked off with Saitama’s visual, followed by thirteen heroes, including Silver Fang, Genos, King, Zombieman, and the others. Now, it’s the villains who are taking over the official One Punch Man account every month. The key visual for Monster King Orochi was the first one to be released.

They were followed by Gyoro-Gyoro, Nyaan, and Overgrown Pochi. This month’s visuals focused on two new villains: Gums by Shinjiro Kuroda and Evil Mineral Water by Ryosuke Shirakawa. Gums is a Dragon-Level mysterious being. It’s a giant creature with wobbly arms and legs, and debuts during the Monster Association Arc of the Human Monster Saga.

The other villain who was revealed this month is Evil Mineral Water. As the name suggests, it’s water with a pair of eyes. Being entirely fluid allows the villain to take up any shape, and it can also move at a rapid pace.

These key visuals, instead of a proper trailer, just add to the concerns of fans, and with the release month approaching, the future doesn’t look too bright.

The release of One Punch Man season 3 is drawing closer

A definite release date for One Punch Man season 3 hasn’t been announced yet, but the season is scheduled for an October 2025 release. We’re only a few months away from the anime’s premiere. Ever since the first official announcement, fans have been sceptical about the animation quality of the upcoming season, given the track record of the anime.

The promotional videos so far have made use of many static visuals, which don’t inspire much confidence. These monthly key visual drops would have been a lot more exciting if there were some sort of reassurance about the quality of the anime.

Hopefully, the upcoming months will be more rewarding in that respect. The release date announcement could be accompanied by a proper trailer, and that might just change things for the better.

One Punch Man season 3 is scheduled for an October 2025 release.
