A few days ago, a Reddit user u/avram_ came to the One Piece subreddit with a post titled Thank you Everyone. The post explained that the user was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and he might not be there when Luffy finds the One Piece treasure and becomes the Pirate King. He was sad that he wouldn’t join the One Piece fandom in celebrating the conclusion of the series.

He revealed that currently he is 23 years old, and he started watching One Piece when he was just a 5-year-old kid. He even went on to say that One Piece was his whole life, and throughout the journey of Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, he experienced a variety of emotions that made him fall in love with One Piece over and over again.

The One Piece fan explained that although he won’t be able to experience the revelations of the many mysteries of Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece, he is happy that he could leave it all to his imagination.
