Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are working through the complex financial details of their divorce since they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, but they’ve already quietly settled one major asset.
The exes are splitting their $23.6 million New York City penthouse, according to The Real Deal. The media outlet obtained the paperwork for their apartment at 100 Eleventh Avenue on June 5. While the estate is worth that astronomical sum, The Real Deal noticed that the deed showed a value of $11.7 million — Jackman and Furness split ownership right down the middle.
The property sports three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms and was a relatively recent purchase in their real estate portfolio. They scooped it up in 2022 for $21.12 million.

Amid their divorce, they decided that a property transfer was easier than an actual sale. His company, Lackawanna LLC, and her company, Phoenix Rising I LLC, now own equal shares of the penthouse as the documents point out the transfer was made between “relatives or former relatives,” per the Daily Mail.
There will be more ownership issues to detangle as they split their assets since Jackman and Furness also have a triplex in the West Village, and homes in the U.K. and Australia. Let’s just say, this divorce is complicated!
Furness filed for divorce on May 23, close to two years since they announced their separation in September 2023. There were claims of an affair between Jackman and his Music Man co-star Sutton Foster going back to 2022, but the duo didn’t confirm their relationship until January 2025.
Still, Furness’ recent statement to the Daily Mail hinted that an inappropriate romance might have taken place between her husband and the Broadway star.
“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. It’s a profound wound that cuts deep; however, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us,” she told the media outlet.
Jackman and Furness married in 1996 and shared two children, Oscar, 25, and Ava, 19.
