At this point, if you don’t know what a Labubu is, you might be living under a rock (kidding!). But seriously, everyone and their mother has had these little furry monsters on the brain recently (this writer included!), and for good reason. While I’ve known about Pop Mart blind boxes for a while now, I haven’t been able to secure a Labubu until recently. For those who know, getting your hands on one can feel almost impossible, especially online. This is why we decided to share all of the tips and tricks we could find on successfully buying Labubu’s online and when they restock.

If getting a Labubu is at the top of your priority list, then the first thing you should do is subscribe to Pop Mart notifications. I know getting bombarded with updates can be annoying, but with your notifications on, you’ll be in the know when new series drop and, more importantly, when they restock. You could also stalk the Pop Mart website, which is what I do, and because of that, I’ve learned two Labubu restocks are happening tonight. Both the Exciting Macaroon and Have a Seat series are restocking tonight, giving you the perfect opportunity to get one. And if you’re trying to secure this restock tonight, here is what you need to know.
Use Your Mobile Device
According to one Reddit user, Yeehawbirb, who posted a thread for Tips on Getting Labubus for Newbies, the best thing you can do is use your phone and the Pop Mart app. They claim that “it’s easier to snag a box or boxes since your finger has less space to travel compared to a computer” if you’re using a phone.
Log On Early
The same Reddit user shared that they’ve noticed that Pop Mart has been restocking Labubu’s almost every other day. The drops are set to happen at 10pm EST/ 7pm PST, and this user recommends logging on at least two minutes before. However, our Commerce Editor, Kristine Fellizar, shared that her sister likes to be on the site 20 minutes before the official drop. She also noticed that they sometimes drop earlier, around 15 minutes before the set release time. It’s not guaranteed, of course. But it is something to keep in mind if you want to successfully secure yours.
Have Your Cart Ready
“Have what you want in your cart already,” shared our editor. Unlike other sites, Pop Mart lets you add items to your basket even though you can’t purchase them immediately. By doing this, you can skip the hassle of searching and risk the site crashing on you when you need to go back to the homepage. Once it’s closer to drop time, you can refresh your page. Keep in mind, if you are buying it on the app, they may penalize you for refreshing too much. So, just be mindful and super patient.
Keep An Amazon Tab Open
Believe it or not, Amazon can come in clutch on restock days. Plenty of shoppers have noticed that Pop Mart’s official storefront will restock certain Labubus on the same day. Now, as for when they hit the Amazon site, it is a total mystery. Some fans have said it can be 30 minutes to an hour after the Pop Mart drop, while others have noticed their availability around midnight after the fact. So, if you’re determined to get one, Amazon is a safe second source to keep in mind.
Have Your Go-To Form of Payment Ready
This should seem like an obvious step, but to be honest, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fumbled getting a hype drop because I didn’t have my credit card ready. If you can, I highly recommend keeping your card information stored on your device. And if you can’t, keep it next to you, and hopefully, your fingers can move at the speed of light.
If All Else Fails, Try Resellers
Since I’m a sneakerhead, I despise resellers as much as the next guy. However, in some situations, they do come in handy, and if you’re as desperate as I am to get one, going to a reseller isn’t a terrible option. We recommend trying Kicks Crew or StockX.
