I’ll admit that I’m not the biggest Tory Burch fan. Of course, I like the brand’s products and think they are timeless and classy. But I don’t actually own anything from it. Perhaps it’s because it reminds me of my teen years when all the girls had Minnie Travel Flats, and I didn’t, or maybe because they’re a smidge out of my price range. Nevertheless, I’ve never felt so inclined to buy anything from the brand until today (although the BonBon collab was close).
Earlier this morning, while scrolling on Pinterest, I came across a pair of Miller sandals that I instantly knew I needed. Introducing the Miller Cloud Rope Sandals — the only shoes I want to wear this summer. Like all Miller sandals, these open-toe shoes feature the iconic Tory Burch crest at the center. But what caught my attention was the bright green cord that attached the logo to the base. The rope used resembles those found on boating shoes or while camping. Honestly, when I first saw them, I thought it was another brand collaboration because if Tory Burch and Sperry Topsider had a baby, it would be these sandals.
These are some of the more comfortable versions of the Miller shoe. As the name says, it has a lightweight and ergonomic fit that makes you feel like your feet are walking on clouds. The sandals have a molded insole wrapped in genuine suede with a “dual-density foam core” that offers more comfort and flexibility. They also have a rubber outsole for extra support and grip. If you ask me, these new sandals are a classy step into the fashionable Gorp core trend — which is right up my alley.
The new Miller Cloud Rope Sandals come in two colors — alce brown with green rope detailing and cloud white with cocoa brown rope detailing. In my opinion, the brown and green colorway is the best, but both are nice and will make a fabulous addition to your summer wardrobe.
