Sadly, Emily Ratajkowski gets a lot of parent shamers up in arms, but she always shuts it down. And now, she and her son Sly are quieting all the haters together with a super-sweet dancing video, and it’s the cutest thing we’ve seen today.
On June 7, Ratajkowski shared a series of photos from her birthday celebration. She shared the photos with the caption reading, “ok wow best birthday ever. feeling so grateful for my life: the friends, the community and the FUN. thank you for all the love🩷🩷🩷.”
She added, “huge ty to @lailacooks for the ultimate birthday cake surprise.”
Now, throughout the post, we see photos of her with a custom beach booty cake, along with pics of her and her pals partying, all with fake “emrata” tattoos to celebrate. (Some pals in attendance included Ziwe Fumudoh and Irina Shayk!)
However, we need to talk about slides 2 and 19! In those slides, we see Ratajkowski and Sly dancing around their empty living room, which has been decorated with red balloons all over the ceiling.
They’re truly living their best lives in these videos, and it just shows a rare glimpse into their sweet mother-son bond!

For those who don’t know, Ratajkowski shares one son named Sylvester Apollo, born in March 2021, with her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard.
In a previous Instagram story response, Ratajowski shut down mom-shamers, saying, “We are all reflecting back on shaming Britney and calling her a bad mom when she drove with her baby in her lap. We talk about how we have to ‘do better’ as a culture.”
She added, “Meanwhile, my comments are filled with awful remarks about how I don’t deserve to be a mom. Shame on you all.” Ratajkowski added that no one deserves to be told by strangers that they’re a “sh-tty mother.”
