Elden Ring Nightreign Players Can’t Stop Memeing Revenant — and We’re Pretty Sure FromSoft Loves It

Being one of the most popular games on the planet, Elden Ring Nightreign has a huge community where memers are active 24×7. While there are memes related to several characters in this game, the Revenant Nightfarer is being trolled for some valid reasons. Usually, the community gets divided into two parts, where the other half tries to defend the character.

However, this time it’s just a harmless meme frenzy that everyone seems to be enjoying. From the looks of it, we are pretty sure that the developers at FromSoftware are loving what the community is up to as well.

Poor Revenant is getting trolled for her cuteness in Elden Ring Nightreign

In the Elden Ring universe, the Revenant has been a familiar term even before the release of the Nightreign DLC. Earlier, they served as enemies inside hidden dungeons. While the names are the same, the Revenant in the Nightreign DLC is different. They are a full-fledged Nightfarer class. Not just any class, but the cutest of all time! Appearance-wise, Revenant has porcelain skin and braided white hair while wearing a crown of blue flowers.

Compared to the other Nightfarers, she looks like a doll with no business doing combat at all. There are a bunch of players who play as the Revenant for her incredible Necromancer abilities. However, when they try to lead from the front holding a colossal weapon, they just look ridiculously funny.

I mean, could you imagine a doll like Revenant holding a weapon twice her size? Even at the time of writing, you can see a bunch of Reddit posts creating memes about Revenant holding a colossal weapon. Some even say that they can’t spot Revenant when they put the colossal weapon on her back.

While the Revenant is one of the most detailed characters in Elden Ring Nightreign, she’s also the source of the memes in recent history. And we think FromSoftware is knowingly adding features to subtly capture the attention of players.

Props to FromSoftware for escalating this trend

Amidst all the memes on Revenant going viral on the internet, players are noticing the small details in the game that make the trend even hilarious. FromSoftware has added a bunch of relics in the game that give random bonus effects to the Nightfarers. For example, the Grand Luminous Scene offers the players three random stat buffs.

Surprisingly, a Reddit user called u/Speaker11 got buffs from a Grand Luminous Scene relic that required him to grab a colossal weapon and have a Revenant Nightfarer at the same time. According to this user’s Reddit post, he got the following effects from the Grand Luminous Scene relic:

  • Expend own HP to fully heal nearby allies when activating Art (requires Revenant).
  • FP restoration upon colossal weapons attacks.
  • Physical attack increases by +2.

Even if this user wanted to keep the colossal weapon and the Revenant separate, he simply can’t. The war between the Ironeye and Recluse is fine, but deep down, we all know which Nightfarer is “loved” the most in the community.
