“NEW Frozen Strawberry Lemonade at Costco!” the creator behind the Costco Buys Instagram account wrote in a recent caption. “This food court newcomer is made with real fruit and no artificial flavors or colors. It’s the PERFECT refreshing summer treat after a long Costco shopping trip.”
And perhaps the best part about the new Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is that it’s just $2.99.
Over on Reddit, one Costco shopper reported back that the lemonade is “very good.” The photos they shared show that each lemonade comes with chunks of real strawberry, driving home the freshness and summery sweetness.
Although others say that the drink is a bit too sweet for their liking. “Just had it today, pretty good but a bit sweet,” another person commented on the Costco Buys post. “Still refreshing tho.” And another person on Reddit similarly shared, “It’s good but too sweet for me.”
Some suggested in the Reddit thread that Costco switch to boba straws so that the drink is easier to consume. The strawberry chunks, though a treat, get stuck in the straws too easily. Because the drink is brand new, there’s plenty of time to make tweaks and changes to make it the best, most refreshing item on the menu!
