Cody Rhodes vs Jey Uso’s Top 5 Favorite Games: Jey Uso is Not Winning This One

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are two cornerstones of WWE’s modern era. While Uso is YEETin his way to the top of the mountain on Monday Night RAW, The American Nightmare has become the poster boy of the company and the face of Friday Night SmackDown. It was back in 2023 that they forged a friendship and became close allies.

Both WWE superstars share a lot of common interests. One is, of course, being at the top of their game and showing much appreciation to the fans who supported them. On the other hand, The YEET man and The Prodigal Son share a love for video games.

It has been widely known that many WWE superstars are big-time gamers. One prime example is current WWE World Tag Team Champion, Xavier Woods, who is the host of the popular gaming channel, ‘Up Up Down Down.’ Similarly, that list also includes the names of the faces of WWE, Cody Rhodes, and the current World Heavyweight Champion, Jey Uso.

While their love for gaming remains the same, their choice of video games is somewhat different. In an interview with GQ Sports, Cody Rhodes revealed his top five video games of all time. His list in order of preference included The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid, Red Dead Redemption 2, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Ghosts of Tsushima.

Rhodes’ choice of video games shares a commonality in terms of world-building, top-tier protagonists, and captivating storytelling. They all defined the boundaries of narrative and technical aspects of a video game, making a long-lasting impression on the entire industry.

On the other hand, Jey Uso prefers video games that are high-action, exhilarating, and physically demanding. In a similar interview with GQ Sports, Uso listed his top five video games in order of preference: Call of Duty, Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and FIFA.

Rhodes and Uso (who was also called a Nepo baby) prefer video games of different genres, yet their choices are linked to one another. While they have competed in the ring on numerous occasions, it will be interesting to see them lock horns with a console in their hand and a choice of video games that interests both of them.

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in May, Jey Uso was attacked by John Cena and his scheduled opponent, Logan Paul. This led to the return of Cody Rhodes after being absent since WrestleMania 41 to rush to the ring and come to his aid.

Following that, Rhodes threw out a huge challenge to Cena and Paul for the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE for a tag team match against him and Uso. The two sides met in last week’s edition of SmackDown, where Rhodes and Uso got the upper hand on their upcoming opponents.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso have much experience as a tag team. In fact, they were the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions in 2023. Being a cohesive unit for a long time, Rhodes and Uso walk into Money in the Bank with a huge advantage and have a strong chance of leaving as the victors.
