CHELSEA are the odds-on 4/5 favourites to sign Mohammed Kudus this summer.

That’s according to bookmakers Betfair, who’ve priced up Kudus’ next destination should West Ham United agree to his sale.

Mohammed Kudus to sign for before 2nd September 2025

Betfair odds

  • Chelsea 4/5
  • Newcastle 5/2
  • Arsenal 9/2
  • Liverpool, Any Saudi Pro League Club 13/2
  • Atletico Madrid 15/2
  • Man City, Man United 12/1
  • AC Milan 16/1

Kudus, 24 has no shortage of admirers with clubs in Europe and Saudi reportedly monitoring his situation.

However, anyone considering the Ghana international will likely need to pay an eye-watering sum with three yers remaining on his contract plus the option for a further year.

It’s believed that West Ham would be prepared to listen to offers in the region of £70million for the player they signed from Ajax for £38m in 2023.

Kudus has scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists in 80 appearances for the Hammers, but the club might reluctantly sell to finance other deals for manager Graham Potter.

So who are the favourites to sign Mohammed Kudus?

Chelsea are the leading contenders at 4/5 following claims they’ve added him to their list of potential simmer targets.

It’s also been reported that Chelsea would be prepared to include goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in the deal.

However, Newcastle (5/2) aren’t far behind in Betfair’s markets with Football Insider claiming they’ve switched their attentions to Kudus having missed out on Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “As Graham Potter prepares for a much-needed revamp of his West Ham squad ahead of the new season, Chelsea have emerged as the odds-on favourites to sign Mohammed Kudus. Newcastle follow at 5/2, with Arsenal 9/2. Meanwhile, a move to Premier League champions Liverpool is 13/2.

“With plenty of interest in Kudus during the early stages of the summer transfer window, other potential destinations for the 24-year-old include Atletico Madrid at 15/2, Man City and Man United, 12/1 with AC Milan 16/1.”

I was a broke 22-year-old struggling to pay bills – now I’ve made £45k in 10 weeks thanks to a ‘silly’ side hustle

A 22-YEAR-OLD has revealed she made a whopping £45,000 in 10 weeks, with a side hustle that doesn’t need a degree or any qualifications.

Olivia shared that last year she was struggling to make ends meet, and thought that 2025 would be the same for her.

She said that she was living paycheck to paycheck in a job that paid her £1200 a month.

Then, 10 weeks ago, she started digital marketing, using just her phone and her life completely changed.

“I was burnt out, I was exhausted, I just knew that something needed to change”, she revealed in a TikTok video.

Olivia explained that to learn how to become a digital marketer, she paid for a course called Self Made Global Business Academy, which taught her everything she needed to know.

“I genuinely owe most of my success to this exact course”, she said.

The savvy side hustler said that digital marketing involves selling digital products, such as guides, planners and courses.

She said that she was given products to use when she started the course, and edited them and re-branded them.

The TikToker claimed she now sells these products on for 100% profit.

Olivia said that she made back the money she spent on the course on just day six.

“I’m now a five figure business owner and I live every single day on my own terms”, she said.

“I am honestly so grateful that I decided to actually take the leap.”

Olivia said that she was hesitant about starting digital marketing, but now wishes she’d started it sooner.

She is now offering advice to others keen to start their own digital marketing journey.

In a second video, the TikToker revealed that she was even able to make £6000 in just a 12 hour period.

“Never in a million years did I think it would be possible to make this much money from my phone”, she said.

Olivia’s (@elevatewitholivia) TikTok video has left many impressed, with social media users racing to the comments section to share their thoughts on the savvy side hustle.

One person said: “You are living my dream.”

A second person said: “I’m so here for the journey.”

Major mobile network is giving FREE data even if you’re not a customer and you don’t need to switch provider

VODAFONE is extending its popular offering of free data to more customers around the country.

Last month, the major mobile network offered phone users in London 50GB of data, as well as 500 minutes and 500 texts for people to try its  eSIM service.

People can get a free eSim for 7-days[/caption]

Non-Vodafone customers in Belfast, Sheffield, Liverpool and Watford can now access the ‘try before you buy’ deal.

The seven-day offer is open to people geo-located in the above cities and have eSim supported mobile phones.

To get the deal, people need to scan a QR code found in the above cities or visit the Vodafone website to sign up online.

From there, customers will need to install the eSIM through the My Vodafone App.

eSIMs are digital SIMs that don’t require a physical SIM card to be installed.

Most modern smartphones support eSIMs, so you can have two SIM services running on your device simultaneously.

Vodafone came up with the seven-day deal as a way to lure Brits to the network and lure them into switching if they experience first hand a performance boost.

“As London’s Best Network, we pride ourselves on connecting this great city to the people and things they love,” said Rob Winterschladen, Consumer Director for Vodafone UK when the offer launched in London.

“We know how important it is for people is to stay connected, so they can work on the move, stream their favourite TV show or movie, or simply contact friends and family.”

Vodafone previously carried out a similar scheme for last year’s Glastonbury Festival and Boardmasters Festival.

It has been a big month for Vodafone who recently completed its £15billion mega-merger with rival Three UK and pledged to invest billions in infrastructure.

The newly-created joint business VodafoneThree said the deal would create a “new force in UK mobile”.

It is now the biggest mobile phone network in the UK with around 27million customers.

But the deal cuts the UK’s four main network operators down to just three, with the new joint business competing with BT/EE and Virgin Media O2.

The tie-up was first announced in 2023 but faced a probe by the competition watchdog, which was worried about the negative effect on consumers.

The Competition and Markets Authority feared it could substantially reduce options for mobile customers and lead to higher bills.

Fire TV Stick loophole gives owners Sky’s best premium channels for just 23p a day – but offer ends in days

FIRE TV Stick owners will now be able to access expensive Sky streams without the need of “dodgy”, illegal firesticks.

Amazon is now offering a deal for people with Fire TV Sticks to get cheap Sky at a fraction of the cost.

They would pay £6.99 for some of Sky NOW’s best channels[/caption]

The platform is giving people access to Sky’s NOW streaming service for just £6.99 per month, which is £3 cheaper than what you would normally have to cough up.

That price buys you the NOW Entertainment Membership, and includes access to Sky Comedy, Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, Sky Documentaries and Sky Crime.

The discount applies for six months, meaning Fire TV Stick users will be able to access NOW for the rest of 2025.

To get the offer you must be a new sign-up to NOW and get the deal before June 20.

Access the NOW app on your Fire TV Stick to sign up and get the whopping discount.

“You pay £6.99 a month for 6 months of Entertainment Membership instead of the usual selling price of £9.99 a month,” Amazon said in a statement.

The new deal comes as TV lovers are given harsh warnings about the serious consequences of using illegally modified Fire TV Sticks.

A growing number of people in the UK are believed to be switching to illegal streaming devices, but the Federation Against Copyright Theft has warned this could lead to users having their ID stolen or their credit card details handed to criminals.

Posts have begun flooding social media sites advertising modified Fire Sticks for just a few pounds.

Some posts advertised all Sky channels plus streaming sites such as Netflix and Disney Plus for as little as £2.50 a month.

In comparison, if you were to pay for Sky Sports, it would set you back by at least £50 a month.

Kieron Sharp, chairman of the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) said dodgy Fire Stick users are breaking the law too, and could end up being prosecuted.

According to FACT, watching an illegal stream is an offence under the Fraud Act 2006, and has a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Where to buy a Fire TV Stick

Fire TV Sticks are an easy way to add streaming to an older television. They’re manufactured by Amazon, but you can buy them from a number of different stores.

But the biggest danger for consumers is from the malware that comes with illegally modified devices.

“There’s a real risk of having your identity stolen or similar,” Sharp said.

“If you give over your credit card details, you are giving them to criminals.

“They could get access to the camera on your TV, if it has one, or microphone.

“There is no safety or security with what you are getting with these modified devices.”

Amazon has said it has made changes to Fire Sticks to make it harder for criminals to modify them.

An Amazon spokesperson said: “Pirated content violates our policies regarding intellectual property rights, and compromises the security and privacy of our customers.

“We remain vigilant in our efforts to combat piracy and protect customers from the risks associated with pirated content, which includes prohibiting apps that infringe upon the rights of third parties in our Appstore, and warning customers of the risks associated with installing or using apps from unknown sources.”

Brits facing summer of chaos as hotel workers to strike every Friday in Tenerife throughout July and August

ENRAGED hotel workers in Tenerife are set to strike every single week of the summer holidays – in the latest blow to Brit holidaymakers amid complaints of anti-tourism.

Colossal strike action, which will include protests outside major hotel chains, will see Brit tourists face a series of “Black Fridays” in July and August.

Anti-social behaviour and a large number of tourists have fuelled the anti-tourism movement[/caption] Illustration of a map showing protests against overtourism in several European cities.

The strikes were proposed by the main tourism union and are expected to hit the Canary Island‘s capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.

They are set to begin on July 4.

Union leader Manuel Fitas of the Grassroots Trade Unionists said the action came as employers were yet to agree on a pay rise for hotel staff.

He said the employers had a “stubborn refusal” to discuss salary improvements.

Fitas explained that on May 29, they gave employers a fifteen-day deadline to respond to their demand for a 6.5% salary increase before negotiating a new agreement.

But employers are yet to come to a new agreement.

If confirmed, the nightmare strikes will prove disastrous for thousands of Brit holidaymakers rushing to the popular destination this summer.

Planned for every Friday of July and August, the action is set to hit the tourism industry’s peak summer season.

Brit tourists should expect major disruptions as the unions intend to launch protests right outside the doors of hotels for maximum impact.

Each of the scheduled walkouts and protests will be confirmed on June 16 when the dates are locked in place.

Despite the threat of the devastating strike, the manager of the local employers’ association, Juan Pablo González, said they were “moderately optimistic” of making progress in the talks.

Asked if they would be willing to make an exception to avoid a strike, he confirmed that “we limit everything to the table because that is how collective agreements are negotiated”.

The action comes after similar anti-tourism strikes have unleashed holiday hell for Brits the Canary Islands.

Brits headed to Tenerife over Easter faced nightmarish conditions as hotel and restaurant workers walked out on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Monday, after last-ditch talks to prevent the protests failed.

“The Canary Islands have a limit” movement argues the Canaries’ current economic model is “based on touristification, speculation, inequality and infinite growth in a very limited land”.

According to the Canarian Trade Union Federation, the wealth generated by tourism should be distributed more fairly to improve the labour and wage rights of more than 170,000 tourism workers in the Canaries.

Anti-tourist protesters held up banners reading 'People live here' and 'We don't want to see our island die'
Thousands of people are known to attend these protests, often held in dozens of cities across Spain

They also demand fairer distribution of tourism revenue to improve life for Canarians – boosting public services like healthcare, affordable housing and transport to fix the current road collapses.

The movement has issued ten key demands, including halting destructive developments, imposing a tourist tax, enforcing a moratorium on new tourist projects, protecting natural areas and stopping sea pollution, among others.

On May 18, thousands of fed-up locals flooded the streets of the Canary Islands in Spain’s third wave of protests against overtourism this year.

Locals across the Canaries say their home has been turned into a playground for tourists.

Demonstrations took place across the Spanish archipelago’s islands, including Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.

Holidaymakers awkwardly watched from the sidelines as the marches progressed through towns.

What is the anti-tourist movement?

Locals are calling for three key measures:

  1. Tourist moratorium: A freeze on new hotel and holiday rental licences, especially in overcrowded areas, to ease pressure on resources and protect rural and coastal land.
  2. Ecotax: A tourist tax to fund public services and offset the environmental impact of mass tourism.
  3. Holiday rental regulation: Stricter controls on platforms like Airbnb and real estate speculation to keep housing affordable for residents.

In Santa Cruz alone, Tenerife’s capital, around 7,000 people were estimated to be on the streets by Spanish security forces.

In Gran Canaria, around 3,000 people were estimated to be present.

Misbehaving Brits visiting the Canary Islands have also fuelled a growing sentiment against tourism among workers in Tenerife.

Shocking footage showed two brits starting a vicious brawl in Tenerife while a crowd of yobs cheered them on.

Viral footage recorded in Playa de las Américas, a popular resort in the holiday hotspot, showed the men throwing jabs at each other before bystanders started to intervene.

And last week, dramatic footage also showed two Brit women scrapping in the streets of Tenerife while being leered on.

Both fights sparked fury among locals, who complained of the manic Brit behaviour on their streets.
