Motel 6 spokesman Tom Bodett sues chain for using his name, voice without permission
UK is teetering on the edge of a debt crisis & facing threat of annihilation… but politicians are powerless
BRITAIN is teetering on a debt crisis, crippled by a lack of growth and heaving under mass-migration while facing threats of disorder at home and annihilation abroad.
But politicians are powerless to fundamentally change the country due to an overinflated, officious civil service and bureaucracy.

So says the man that was running Whitehall behind the scenes until six months ago.
Former Cabinet Secretary Sir Simon Case spent decades at the heart of the Establishment; in No10, Buckingham Palace and the spy world.
Guiding the ship of state through political turmoil, wars, Royal crises and a pandemic, there are few people who understand better how Britain really works.
So the ex-mandarin’s chilling warnings should make us all sit up and listen…
Admitting “there is a real sense that politics and political conversation and how we govern our country hasn’t been working for ordinary working people for quite a long time”, Sir Simon warns politicians are currently unable to fulfil voters hunger for change.
Rachel Reeves will today unveil government spending plans for the next few years, yet Sir Simon fears Labour have hit the same challenges faced by previous governments in an “all must have their say” culture that leaves the public picking up the tab.
He says incoming governments of all stripes have found their promises to voters are left in tatters as they realise they only have the power to tinker at the edges of what needs to be done.
And he warns the overbearing state strangles growth and reform while radical solutions to our border crisis languish in Whitehall and the courts – leaving the voters angrier and angrier, and trust in the system frayed to breaking point.
He told The Sun: “This is the call to arms now… it doesn’t matter who’s in power, we need to fix these things.”
But if we do not, Sir Simon warns the he music might stop soon, saying: “What I worry about most is actually having a properly functioning democracy… if you vote for change, you’ve got to get change. And if people keep voting and they don’t get change, they start to wonder, why on earth am I spending my time… Why am I engaging? Why am I paying my taxes?”
And he says politicians in all parties must now get real and wake up to the failings of the state or the consequences of not doing so will see the country slip down a dark path.
“There are moments in our history where we’ve had political violence”, he said, “but that isn’t who we’ve become as a modern nation… And when you start to see people expressing their frustration in that way, we should all stop and listen and think, what is happening? You know, what is going on here?”
“Something is happening that we should all pay attention to”, he added.
Asked if we were yet at breaking point Sir Simon warned: “For me, look, you should always plan for the worst” but insisted there was a still a small window to turn things around despite the growing threat of China and Russia abroad.
But in the short term he warns the Chancellor is caught between unsustainable debt mountain, political nervousness in Parliament from her own side as well as diminished power for any ministers to actually make change.
Though he insisted he hates the “dehumanising” phrase The Blob, the former boss of the civil service says critics have a point about a system that stifles reform.
He said: “I do understand that there is this kind of faceless sort of set of organisations that seems to be holding power, and no matter what you want to do, there’s a million reasons…
“Fundamentally, we have a system of government that’s developed largely over the last 200 years into what I think of as lowest common denominator political thinking. Everybody has an equal say. You come up with an idea and it gets sandpapered away by all of these… And then you’re just kind of left with this thing… and you think, that doesn’t really look a lot like what I originally said.”
But he warns politicians only have themselves to blame for years of political game playing on both sides that as seen power given away to ever increasingly powerful bureaucrats.
He hit out: “I think a lot of politicians think they’re going to be elected or on a platform of change. That’s exactly what this government did… And then you come into power and you realise that over the last, actually probably now about 40 years, it’s amazing how much power elected politicians have given away in all sorts of different ways.”
He added: “We’ve got to that point that, you know, people are fighting hard to get to the top of the tree, to become prime ministers, to become cabinet ministers, and they come round and they’re saying, oh, we’ve given it all away… And you realise everything is a really long, slow, painful negotiation.”
Appearing on the Sun’s Never Mind the Ballots show in a stunning broadside against the machine he previous ran, Sir Simon blasts the formation of the Office of Budget Responsibility as a typical example that binds in politicians from the radical and sweeping changes that need to be done.
He says there were people in power now that “spotted really quickly that the way we govern ourselves isn’t right… The OBR was a really interesting one.”
Blaming both Labour and Tories, he said: “Over and over, over and over again, politicians are reacting often to some issue or some scandal and saying, politicians can’t be trusted, we should take more power away from politicians, so you can trust us because we’re not going to wield power in the same way as the last lot. And that is a fundamental problem.”
Asked if he pushed for the abolition of the controversial quango on when in government, Sir Simon added: ”I’m not going to go into what I said on the inside, but I’ll tell you what I think. And you can draw your own conclusions.
“You can’t have elections where no matter who you vote for, you just keep getting the same answer.”
I wanted boobs and a bum like Katie Price but nearly DIED when her ‘surgeon’ botched my body

KELLY Crees claims to have been left with one ‘super-sized’ boob and life-threatening sepsis after a cut-price ‘boob job’ from a celebrity beauty consultant.
“I wanted him to enhance my body and instead he damaged me and botched my procedures,” the 43-year-old, said.

Ricky Sawyer – who has performed procedures on Love Island stars and Katie Price – carried out a boob enhancement and BBL (brazilian butt lift) on Kelly in a private clinic.
The self-named “beauty consultant” has since been banned from carrying out cosmetic procedures across England and Wales.
Just days after the mum-of-five from Margate had cosmetic filler injected in her boobs, one started swelling dangerously to twice its size and she was rushed by ambulance to hospital with lethal blood poisoning.
Doctors saved her life by pumping her body with life-saving antibiotics to flush out the poison and reduce swelling – telling her she had been hours from death.
Medics later found ‘worrying’ hard lumps of congealed cosmetic filler in her breasts which they said required removal surgery.
Now Kelly is suing Lift Aesthetics who organised her procedures along with her beauty consultant Ricky Sawyer who carried out the botched procedures.
It comes as Ricky was banned from offering or arranging any cosmetic procedures in England and Wales until May 27, 2028, after a judge at Manchester Civil Justice Centre granted an injunction against him.
The court heard he had been carrying out risky treatments, including liquid BBLs, without medical supervision or proper regulation.
James Parry, the lawyer who brought the case on behalf of Trafford Council, told the judge that the injuries were akin to that of “serious knife crime”, the BBC reported.
“Ricky and Lift destroyed my health, confidence and trust in people,” Kelly said.
She added: “I am lucky to be alive.
“If I had been admitted a few hours later I wouldn’t be here today as I would never have woken up. My boob swelled so much it was scary.
“The only reason I booked with them was because Katie Price had posted about them on her socials so I at least thought they were legit and safe.
“I feel so foolish now I wish I had gone to a qualified surgeon.
“I will never mess with my breasts again as they are too precious. I am just surprised that Ricky hasn’t killed anyone yet.
“All they want is your money and dump you when you get sick. It’s disgusting.”

The injunction stops Ricky from undertaking or facilitating any invasive cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to the BBL, anywhere in England and Wales.
It also bars him from possessing related surgical equipment or any antibiotics typically used in such treatments, unless prescribed for his own use.
The court attached a power of arrest to key clauses in the order, meaning police may arrest Ricky without a warrant if he is found to be in breach of its terms.
Rick has been given 21 days to challenge the injunction.
Kelly saw a series of posts on Katie Prices’ Instagram about a company called Lift Aesthetics promoting a BBL bum job she had – a practice were filler is injected in a bum to enhance its size and shape.
The doctors said I had sepsis in my boob and if I hadn’t came in when I did, I would likely have died. It was a terrifying time.
Kelly Crees
Kelly contacted the company on Instagram and paid £1600 for a double package of boob enhancement and BBL bum filler.
Her boob and bum job involved 500ml of filler (nearly a pint) being injected separately in both breasts and bum cheeks to make them appear perkier and curvier.
She added: “I messaged them and they went out of their way to be friendly and I thought I was in safe hands and was seeing a real qualified doctor.”
After paying her £400 deposit, she didn’t meet ‘Dr’ Ricky Sawyer until the day of the first procedure on November 15, 2023, in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.
She then paid the outstanding £1,200 balance in cash.

After signing a consent form she was given some Lidocaine painkillers.
During the procedures she felt faint and nearly passed out but was assured by Ricky it was normal.
After the bum and boob filler procedures – carried out two days apart, with the boob job on November 17 — she was told antibiotics would be sent to her in the post.
Kelly, whose children are 25, 19, 17, 15 and 10, added: “They said I needed them to prevent infection but they never turned up. I messaged Lift but they kept fobbing me off saying they were in post.
“There was no real aftercare. It was as if I didn’t matter anymore as they had my cash.”
‘Terrifying time’
Two days after her last procedure, Kelly got a pain in her boob and a raging temperature.
After laying down on the sofa her temperature spiked and she was unable to walk.
On November 21, her mum called an ambulance and Kelly was rushed to hospital, where doctors warned she had life-threatening sepsis.
She added: “I was so poorly and sick and hurting all over and felt like I was on fire as I was so hot. I just wanted to sleep but may never have woken back up.
“The doctors said I had sepsis in my boob and if I hadn’t came in when I did, I would likely have died. It was a terrifying time.
“My blood pressure dropped rapidly and they said that was a sign my organs were shutting down.”
She spent the next four days in Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother (QEQM) hospital in Margate being treated and having life saving antibiotics administered by a drip.
‘Big mistake’
When she messaged Lift Aesthetics that she was in hospital with sepsis they told her it was issue for the private clinic not them.
Kelly said: “That was the first time I realised something wasn’t right. As all my dealings had been with Lift and now they were passing the buck.
“I knew then I was on my own. And had made a big mistake.”
Lift Aesthetics were referring customers like Kelly to private clinics in Essex and London where practitioner Ricky Sawyer carried out the procedures.
Kelly says she was then left with one boob bigger than the other after it swelled to nearly twice its size.
She was later referred by her NHS Doctors to a specialist internal breast clinic where mammograms revealed big congealed white deposits in her boobs.
'More must be done to stop rogue injectors'
By Lizzie Parry, Head of Health
IT might sound less invasive, but just because liquid BBLs are ‘non-surgical’ they are no less dangerous.
Any medical procedure comes with risks.
But when those procedures are carried out by any Tom, Dick or Harry with no medical qualification at all, the risks skyrocket.
Campaign-group Save Face has warned of an “alarming increase” in the number of patients complaining of severe complications from liquid BBLs and boob jobs.
The list of nasty complications is long, sepsis, infections and abscesses that require hospital admission and often surgical interventions.
These procedures, often advertised on social media as being ‘risk-free and cheaper alternatives’ to surgery can be lethal.
In every single case of complications reported to Save Face, the ‘practitioner’ had absolutely no healthcare qualifications, not one. It’s terrifying.
These unscrupulous rogue traders, who charge on average around £2,000, are putting people’s lives at risk, while raking in the profits.
Equally as alarming is the fact that most qualified medics say they don’t offer non-surgical BBLs because they are unsafe and come with high risk of complications.
If doctors and nurses aren’t comfortable doing liquid BBLs, it should be reason enough to outlaw them.
Save Face is calling on the Government to crackdown and ban these procedures, warning more people will die if action is not taken.
It’s a crisis waiting to happen, and more must be done to ensure people seeking aesthetic treatments are safe and have access to the best possible care.
She said: “They said they had never seen anything like it. And said I would have to get a non NHS plastic surgeon to cut it out. I was really scared as I didn’t want to have deformed breasts.”
‘Kelly is lucky to be alive’
Eight months later, in June 2024, she managed to find a reputable clinic who were able to offer non-invasive injections to dissolve some of the ‘congealed’ filler instead with five sessions costing £750.
But she says she still likely has some filler left in her boobs and may still yet have to get it surgically removed in the future.
She said: “I am still living day to day with what the effects of what Ricky did to me and don’t know when that will stop, if ever. I get regular pain in my boob and under my armpit.
“It has been hell and total waste of money. It has put me off procedures for life and I will never do it again being so close to death.
“And others should think twice. And anyone should steer well clear of Lift Aesthetics and Ricky.“
Kelly is now suing Ricky Sawyer for ‘in excess of £20,000’ and sent claim letters to him and booking clinic Lift Aesthetics over her boob filler and bum procedures.
Eleanor Groves, Associate Solicitor and head of cosmetic negligence at Express Solicitors said: “Kelly is lucky to be alive. She was hours from death. We are now taking action against Lift Aesthetics and Ricky Sawyer.
“These operators, and others like them, are like the Wild West. They are using bait and switch methods with people booking with one company and then procedures carried out with another.
“Victims of botched procedures like Kelly are left with lifelong horrendous injuries and often with no comeback.
“Unfortunately serious infections like sepsis are increasingly regular outcomes for people having these type procedures.
“The Government needs to urgently regulate this industry to prevent deaths and serious injury.”
The Sun has approached Ricky Sawyer for comment at new company Clinic Club which uses the same WhatsApp number as Lift Aesthetics previously used to communicate with clients.
What are Brazilian Butt Lifts and why are they so popular?
Buttock enlargement surgery – known as a Brazilian butt-lift (BBL) – is used to make the bum look bigger, rounded and lifted.
Surgeons transfer fat, inject filler or insert silicone-filled implants.
It is the fastest growing cosmetic procedure but also one of the most dangerous, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Many patients are travelling to the likes of Turkey or seeking out unregistered surgeons in the UK and are not given full information on the risks.
BBLs carry the highest risk of all cosmetic surgeries – with more than one death occurring per 4,000 procedures.
Due to celebrities undergoing such ops, many women are hoping to emulate their looks.
Consultant clinical psychologist Dr Anu Sayal-Bennett, a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, told the BBC: “Despite there being so much about body positivity, there are pressures for women – and men too – to look a certain way.”
Many people travel abroad for the procedure because it is cheaper and advertising is “terribly seductive”, combined with the idea of a beach holiday, added Dr Sayal-Bennett.
Katie Price makes surprising comment about ex Peter Andre’s wife Emily – despite not speaking to him after split
KATIE Price has made a surprise comment about her ex Peter Andre’s new wife despite admitting she doesn’t speak to him following their split.
The famous couple called it quits in 2009 and no longer communicate with one another.

But in a rare comment, Katie has praised Peter’s new wife, GP Emily Andre and expressed her feelings about her ex having found someone new.
But now Katie has admitted she is glad Peter married Emily as she aired her thoughts on their romance during an interview with Katherine Ryan.
She spoke to Katherine on her podcast, What’s My Age Again, where she shared her thoughts on the couple who have just celebrated a decade of marriage.
Katie told Katherine: “I’m glad he’s with Emily. She seems like a proper lady.
“I think it’d be weird if he went for someone like me.”
Furthermore, she admitted her daughter Princess is shocked that her mum and dad were ever once a couple amid the striking differences between Katie and Emily.
The former glamour model added: “[Princess] says, ‘You’re just so nuts mum. When I see you and Emily, you’re just so different. I can’t imagine you and dad.’
“I said, ‘I was with your dad six years. Trust me, we had a laugh and bantered together, we did.’
“She said, ‘I just can’t imagine dad being like that.’ I said ‘But he was, he was like that. We had a laugh.’
‘And you know, she can’t believe that whenever he went anywhere or me, we were together with the kids. And we’d go as a family.
‘Emily doesn’t do all that for Pete.
“Me and Pete just did it all together as a family. If we’d got you kids, you would come with us.”
Katie confirmed earlier this year that she hasn’t spoken to Peter once since their final conversation in which she suggested that Peter divorced her amid his uncertainty in their marriage.
The TV star had been engulfed by rumours she was having an affair with her dressage trainer, something she has strenuously denied, but it drew an irreparable wedge between Katie and Peter.
Speaking about their lack of communication, she said on the We Need To Talk podcast: “Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it.
“It’s all through lawyers. I’ve never sat down with him, we probably would’ve sorted it out but we were kept apart.”

Satellite photos reveal Iran’s new ‘Desert Plan’ nuke program with underground blast sites, vanishing roads & AI drones
CHILLING new details of Iran’s secret project to develop powerful nuclear warheads for missiles capable of firing over 2,000 miles have been revealed.
Satellite images and new information about the clandestine programme – codenamed the “Desert Plan” – have been uncovered by Iranian resistance networks.

They warned that the tyrannical regime’s dash to obtain deadly nukes had “intensified”.
Seven hidden sites in the Semnan province of northern Iran have been identified including an underground base used for nuclear explosion tests.
In a bid to keep the programme under wraps, regime leaders have even deleted roads leading to bases from official maps.
Low-flying aircraft and drones equipped with face recognition technology patrol the area around the sites – and any foreigners who venture near are arrested and interrogated.
The new details, which were gathered by networks inside Iran from the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), were released on Tuesday by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
They uncovered how the regime initiated its “Kavir Plan” – which means Desert Plan – in 2009 to replaced the regime’s previous Amad plan, which was exposed and shut down in 2003.
The Kavir Plan is a series of projects set up under the direct orders of leader Ali Khamenei to develop boosted nuclear warheads for missiles with a range exceeding 2,000 miles or 3,000 kilometres.
“Make no mistake. Nuclear weapons are the regime’s life insurance policy.
National Council of Resistance of Iran
That would mean the nuclear warheads could reach US bases in the Middle East as well as countries as far away as Italy, Ukraine, Sudan and parts of Russia.
To mask the Kavir Plan, the regime pretends it has a goal of “desert security” and nuclear weapons are being developed under the guise of manufacturing satellite-launching missiles, the NCRI say.
They have identified seven sites they believe to be related to the Kavir Plan including the Shahroud Site where nuclear warheads for the Ghaem-100 missile are being developed and the Semnan Site, focused on developing nuclear weapons for the Simorgh missile.
The Ivanaki Site is responsible for developing components for the weapons and the Sanjaran Site develops shock wave generators for simultaneous detonation in a nuclear weapon.
Underground explosive testing is conducted at the Sorkheh Hesar Site, while the “Parchin Site (Project 6)” has been identified as engaging in the production of explosives and carrying out testing.
Meanwhile the SPND, the organisation which commands the secret nuclear programme, is believed to be located in the Noor Building in Tehran.
“Tehran has done everything to hide its relentless effort to acquire nuclear weapons.
National Council of Resistance of Iran
The nuclear sites are patrolled by a special unit called the Kavir Security Unit and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who have set up an intelligence base in the area.
To conceal the sites’ activities, Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence removed the road between Semnan and the provinces of Yazd and Isfahan from the country’s official geographic maps to prevent foreign nationals from accessing it, the NCRI claim.
The areas around the sites are monitored by light reconnaissance aircraft and drones with facial recognition cameras mounted on them.
The regime also uses satellite surveillance technology to monitor the area.

‘THREAT TO GLOBAL PEACE’
According to NCRI, foreigners – particularly American and European tourists who travel to the region for scientific or wildlife research, are closely monitored by security and law enforcement in the area by direct order of Khamenei.
They claim the regime “has consistently arrested foreign nationals travelling in the region and subjected them to interrogation”.
In a statement, the NCRI said: “The regime’s approach to the international community regarding its nuclear activities over these decades can be described as concealment, deception, obfuscation, delaying, and destruction of evidence.
“Tehran has done everything to hide its relentless effort to acquire nuclear weapons. The regime’s policy remains one of stalling and delaying to prevent decisive action while
moving forward with its weapons program. The time has come to end this.
“This regime’s threat to global peace and stability is not limited to its nuclear program.
How would war between US & Iran would look

by Harvey Geh
IRAN would face a devastating invasion if it followed through on threats to assassinate Donald Trump, according to former US advisor Dr Kenneth Katzman.
US historian Max Boot predicted it would take up to 1.6 million troops out of their total 2.1 million for the US to fully invade and occupy Iran.
Iran would be outnumbered with a total of just 1.2 million troops, 551 aircraft and 1,713 tanks.
The US would have 13,043 aircraft and 4,640 tanks at their disposal, not to mention a much bigger navy and 3,770 nukes.
Experts say a conflict could spiral and drag in Iran’s proxy forces across the region.
Among the many targets in Tehran that would be attacked, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Guard Corps (IRGC) would be first on the list.
US strikes would also target nuclear sites in Iran.
“The genocide inside Iran, as confirmed by the UN Special Rapporteur, and the export of terrorism and warmongering necessitate a decisive policy towards it.
“The mullahs’ regime is at its most fragile state, facing an explosive society. Since Masoud Pezeshkian was appointed as the regime’s president in August, more than 1,300 prisoners—
including women political prisoners—have been executed, and dozens are at imminent risk of execution.
“Regionally, the regime is at its weakest point in four decades, making it more desperate than ever to rely on the nuclear lever.
“Four press conferences by the Iranian Resistance exposing the regime’s secret nuclear projects in the past six months demonstrate that Tehran’s dash to obtain nuclear weapons has intensified.
“Make no mistake. Nuclear weapons are the regime’s life insurance policy.”

The NCRI has now called for all of the regime’s nuclear and missile sites to be shut down and dismantled.
They also want to see the snapback mechanism of the Iran nuclear deal triggered, which means sanctions will be reimposed on Iran.
Iran claims it is not trying to develop nuclear weapons and its nuclear programme is for civilian purposes only.
However, the UN nuclear watchdog – the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – warned last month that Iran had secretly increased its stockpile of uranium enriched almost to weapons-grade levels.
It made Iran the only non-nuclear-weapon state to have produced such material, according to the IAEA’s report.
US intelligence agencies believe Iran has yet to begin a weapons program but say it is in a position to produce a nuclear weapon if it wanted to.
It comes as the US held several rounds of talks with Tehran over a possible nuclear deal, President Donald Trump believes could be completed soon.
However Iranian officials dismissed reports a deal was imminent and said they wouldn’t agree to anything unless all sanctions were lifted and their nuclear programme was allowed to continue.
Trump hit back, giving Tehran a chilling deadline to either sign a new nuclear agreement or face military action.
“If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” Trump said.
“It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”
