Marnie Simpson hits back at trolls after she’s mum-shamed for OnlyFans as she vows to keep stripping off while young

MARNIE Simpson has admitted her controversial TV career has put her under the spotlight when it comes to mum-shamers over the last decade.

But the Geordie Shore reality star, 33, has now insisted that she has “no regrets” when it comes to her wild and raunchy televised scenes on the hit Paramount+ show.

The Newcastle lass exclusively told The Sun: “ I’ve been judged and mum-shamed for years – I won’t bring up my children to be judgemental.”

The OnlyFans creator, who joined the adult subscription site in 2022, Marnie said she is proud of her TV career – despite what some trolls may say.

Geordie Shore made history as one of UK’s wildest TV shows – best known for its chaotic antics, explicit sex scenes, boozy parties and threesomes.

But looking back on telly career, which also includes Ex on The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother, Marnie said she has nothing to be ashamed of.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Marnie said: “I think all my wild nights in my Geordie Shore days were all really crazy but I also had so much fun – I think my 20s were so amazing, I got to do so many amazing things. I got to travel, I got the best experiences, I don’t really live with regret.”

Marnie was at the center of a number of fiery clashes on Geordie Shore – with one of her most memorable moments being a mother of all cat fights with former co-star Charlotte Crosby after she kissed newcomer Marty McKenna, just hours after he snogged Chloe Ferry.

When Marnie first rocked up in series seven, she made a few enemies among the girls when she made a beeline for Scotty T and Gaz Beadle. And in series nine, one the biggest house party fights broke out after she kissed her best mate Kyle Christie to make Aaron Chalmers jealous.

And let’s not forget the X-rated bedroom sessions that saw her get down and dirty with Gaz, Aaron and even girl pal Chloe Ferry.

The pregnant star, who is mum to sons, Rox, five, and Oax, two, with husband Casey Johnson, said she is not concerned about her children seeing her telly past on the internet.

She shared: “The way the world is going at the minute, I don’t think it will need to be a conversation.

“I feel like my relationship with my family is very open and honest and I think it will be the same with me and my kids.

“I don’t keep anything back, they know everything about me and I feel they’re going to be brought up to not be judgemental.

“I feel like if anything, the conversations will be about Geordie Shore, not OnlyFans.”

The popular TV personality said she would be supportive of whatever career path her children takes, even if it’s joining a reality TV show one day.

“I would be happy for my kids doing anything that made them happy, as long as it wasn’t hurting other people,” Marnie said.

“Whatever they want to do, I’m going to raise them the best I can until they’re 18 and then they can make their own decisions in life, as long as it makes them happy and they’re not hurting anyone, they can do what they want.”

Since Marnie made her first TV appearance in 2013, her life changed forever and not always for the better.

She has been the subject of vile trolls and social media hate, with mum-shamers relentlessly telling her to “have some respect”.

Marnie has been forced to defend her decision to strip off and share sexy lingerie photos on her platform.

Marnie insisted she has “no regrets” when it comes to stripping off for money, saying: “While I’m young, I’m going to embrace my body and I’m really proud of my body.

“Then why not.. I feel empowered by embracing it.”

When it comes to being cruelly trolled, she said: “I feel like I wouldn’t say that’s down to OnlyFans, I’ve been judged and mum-shamed for years because I come from such a controversial reality show. I come from Geordie Shore.

“We’ve kind of dealt with that for the past 13 years, that’s no different to me.”

Marnie admitted the world is now moving towards accepting adult content creators – but said she’ll always face scrutiny.

She said: “I honestly feel the stigma and taboo is already breaking down.

“As the years go by, it’s becoming more normalised [working on adult subscription sites].

“So many girls and women and ladies are just having that choice for themselves and I think it’s really empowering.

“It’s such a normal thing now, I think back in the day, there was a lot more stigma around it but I think it’s becoming such a global thing now.

“There are so many people worldwide who are on the platform and there is a reason for that.

“I think it’s good that no one feels that they can’t be on there and that they’re judged.

“I definitely like where it’s going because no one should have the right to judge others, there shouldn’t really be a stigma around it because not everyone is doing the same thing on there – it’s each to their own.”

Despite not everyone being accepting of this career choice, Marnie is raking in the cash and will be introducing a new OnlyFans YouTube channel in a bid to reach more fans.

“I’ve enjoyed it because I feel like it’s given me a lot of freedom, a lot of confidence, I feel like I get to connect with people on a deeper level,” she shared.

“I love having the freedom of working for myself and choosing how I spend my time, so it works for me perfectly.”

Marnie will be able to share more personal and daily updates with fans on the new channel, just months after her In The Real Life series launched on the OnlyFans platform.

Marnie, who announced she is expecting a baby girl with singer Casey, said the last few months have been hard physically, but she is excited to jump straight back into her content creating after giving birth.

She told us: “I don’t feel at my most confident right this second, I’ve got to be honest.

“I am six months pregnant and pregnancy isn’t really for me – I find it really tough.

“I’ve been really sick and I’ve really struggled.

“At this second I don’t feel my sexiest, but since reaching my 30s, I’ve recently felt the most confident within myself, physically, mentally, emotionally.

“I’ve just felt so strong and strong minded and my best.”

The star had a very difficult first birth and while pregnant with her second child she insisted she would not have any more.

She said at the time: “I would not go to three,” she said. “I think you’ve got to find the balance for yourselves.

“We want to enjoy our lives as well. We’ve not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.”

Marnie previously described her first labour, which lasted 28 hours, as traumatic and insisted on having a c-section the second time round.

Marnie was diagnosed with a chronic UTI in 2016 and after giving birth to baby Rox in 2019, her symptoms began to get a lot worse.

Marnie got engaged to X Factor singer Casey back in 2020, and they wed in May 2023.

The pair met on the show Single AF in 2017.

They confirmed their relationship just a few months after the show ended – a move that is against show rules but it didn’t seem to worry the smitten love-birds.

Fabio Wardley reveals the fight he would never agree to and claims he would even ‘take a knee in the first round’

FABIO WARDLEY has floored the baffling suggestion that he could fight his mentor and pal Dillian Whyte.

After following all of Wardley’s career, we were stunned to hear the idea even mooted from some clumsy pundits.

But Wardley told SunSport with a laugh: “From the second it would be announced, everybody who knows the sport and who knows us, would know it would be fake and not something I would ever do, because of the amount of love, respect and admiration I have for Dills.

“People go on about my story, white-collar, coming from nowhere, sparring Usyk.

“But none of that is possible without Dillian at the beginning, giving me all of these opportunities.

“So I would never spit in his face and fight him.

“Even if all the sanctioning bodies called for the fight and somebody was silly enough to put all the money up, I would take a knee in the first round and give him the win.”

Ipswich’s 30-year-old former recruitment worker and white-collar boxer headlines Portman Road on Saturday night against tough Australian Justis Huni.

Whyte was due to feature on the Ipswich undercard but pulled out to secure a summer showdown with Lawrence Okolie.

He has not boxed in England since November 2022 and was supposed to have a rematch with Anthony Joshua in August 2023.

But that O2 sell-out was scrapped when Whyte failed a doping test.

Whyte has boxed in Gibraltar and Ireland since that big-money clash was binned, landing underwhelming wins.

For Wardley, on June 16 his partner is scheduled to give birth to his first child, a bouncing baby girl.

For anyone else, the nail-biting fortnight would be a crippling rollercoaster of emotions impossible to combine.

But the Suffolk Puncher – who went on an Oleksandr Usyk sparring trip to Ukraine in 2018 when he barely knew how to throw a jab – is loving the chaos.

The class act told SunSport: “June 2025 is going to be a wild month I talk a lot about, for the rest of my life.

“I will be an old man in a rocking chair, telling people about it and wondering how we pulled it off.

“Everything has come together at the same time, it might seem a bit hectic but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I thrive on it, I love the chaos.”

Nine months ago, the 18-0-1 ace got the wonderful news he would be a dad for the first time.

And a few weeks later he got the offer of a lifetime, to headline at his boyhood football club, a chance that some Olympic and world champions never get.

It seems like a psychological and logistical nightmare that would be destined for the divorce courts but Team Wardley is way too tight.

“If my little girl is anything like me, then she’ll be chilled out and late, which will give me a little bit more time to decompress from the fight,” he grinned.

“The flight date has been moved around a few times but my missus has been unbelievable.

“I have just promised to her that, as soon as Saturday night is over, I am all theirs.

“This week, though, is just my week. I need to be totally focused on me and then it’s all on them.”

Wardley – who cracked 2020 Olympic bronze winner Frazer Clarke’s skull in their one-round rematch in October – somehow combines being a brutal boxer with being a lovely bloke and he insists that won’t change with another win or a baby.

“I don’t know how parenthood will affect me,” he said. “I do plan to be the fun-dad though.

“I want mum to do the telling off. I think I will always be driven to push myself in everything, though.

“That’s something just innate in me. And I am sure I will need to feed and stoke that fire regularly.”

Huge fashion retailer with over 250 UK stores ‘drawing up radical rescue plan’ with shops and jobs at risk

A HUGE fashion retailer with over 250 UK stores is reportedly drawing up a radical rescue plan which could see shops and jobs axed.

The high street giant – which is being forced to restructure due to tough trading standards – employs around 5,500 people and was founded in London in 1948.

The chain’s owners have brought in advisers from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to come up with money-saving solutions, reports Sky News.

The proposals are expected to be finalised in a matter of weeks, though sources have reportedly claimed no decisions have been green lit on the retailer’s future.

Accounts for River Island Clothing Co for the year ending December 30 2023 showed the firm made a £33.2 million pre-tax loss.

Then the turnover during the following 12 months fell by more than 19% to £578.1 million.

The firm’s latest accounts at Companies House, warned of growing financial and operational risks.

“The market for retailing of fashion clothing is fast changing with customer preferences for more diverse, convenient and speedier shopping journeys and with increasing competition especially in the digital space,” it said.

“The key business risks for the group are the pressures of a highly competitive and changing retail environment combined with increased economic uncertainty.

“A number of geopolitical events have resulted in continuing supply chain disruption as well as energy, labour and food price increases, driving inflation and interest rates higher and resulting in weaker disposable income and lower consumer confidence.”

In January, River Island hired consulting firm, AlixPartners, to undertake work on cost reductions and profit improvement.

It’s understood PwC has now taken over.

In recent months, a number of River Island stores have been closing, including in Corby and Chesterfield.

Originally named Lewis Separates and then Chelsea Girl, the chain was founded by Bernard Lewis in 1948 and became influential during the 1960s fashion scene, including the iconic mini-dress trend.

It was re-branded as River Island in 1988 and throughout the next two decades expanded to become a leading high street force in the UK.

It now has a presence in over 125 worldwide markets, in stores and online.

Why are retailers closing shops?

EMPTY shops have become an eyesore on many British high streets and are often symbolic of a town centre’s decline.

The Sun’s business editor Ashley Armstrong explains why so many retailers are shutting their doors.

In many cases, retailers are shutting stores because they are no longer the money-makers they once were because of the rise of online shopping.

Falling store sales and rising staff costs have made it even more expensive for shops to stay open.

The British Retail Consortium has predicted that the Treasury’s hike to employer NICs from April 2025, will cost the retail sector £2.3billion.

At the same time, the minimum wage will rise to £12.21 an hour from April, and the minimum wage for people aged 18-20 will rise to £10 an hour, an increase of £1.40.

In some cases, retailers are shutting a store and reopening a new shop at the other end of a high street to reflect how a town has changed.

The problem is that when a big shop closes, footfall falls across the local high street, which puts more shops at risk of closing.

Retail parks are increasingly popular with shoppers, who want to be able to get easy, free parking at a time when local councils have hiked parking charges in towns.

Many retailers including Next and Marks & Spencer have been shutting stores on the high street and taking bigger stores in better-performing retail parks instead.

In some cases, stores have been shut when a retailer goes bust, as in the case of Carpetright, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Paperchase, Ted Baker, The Body Shop, Topshop and Wilko to name a few.

What’s increasingly common is when a chain goes bust a rival retailer or private equity firm snaps up the intellectual property rights so they can own the brand and sell it online.

They may go on to open a handful of stores if there is customer demand, but there are rarely ever as many stores or in the same places.

The Centre for Retail Research (CRR) has warned that around 17,350 retail sites are expected to shut down this year.
