Battlefield 6 Leak Hints at Return of Iconic Gadgets – Plus Two Seemingly Never-Before-Seen Additions

The Battlefield 6 leak train keeps rolling, and honestly, it’s doing more for the game’s hype than any official marketing campaign could dream of. DICE and EA might as well embrace it at this point because these glimpses are getting people genuinely excited about March 2026.

The latest footage drop gives us our clearest look yet at the gadget system. Some old favorites are making their comeback, but there are also two mystery items that nobody can quite figure out.

Classic Battlefield gadgets get the spotlight

The footage comes courtesy of MP1st, who spotted a Chinese Battlefield Labs player sharing gameplay on Bilibili. What makes this leak particularly juicy is the level of detail we get to see, especially when the player zooms in with their weapon scope for close-up shots.

The star of the show in this latest Battlefield 6 leak is a massive supply pack that’s the equivalent of a Swiss Army knife. Medical equipment, ammunition, grenades, and everything else a squad could need are all bundled into one deployable package. It’s the most detailed gadget shown in the entire video, and you can practically see every piece of gear packed inside.

Next up is a deployable shield that looks suspiciously straightforward. No fancy folding mechanisms or high-tech nonsense, just a straight barrier you can plop down for cover. It’s probably a placeholder design that’ll get more polish before launch, but the concept is solid.

The defibrillator makes its triumphant return, because apparently DICE finally remembered that reviving teammates is kind of important in Battlefield. No more of that Battlefield 2042 nonsense where only certain specialists could bring people back from the brink.

There’s also a Tracer Dart Gun in its early grey-box phase, complete with that classic one-shot-then-reload limitation that made it such a tactical choice in previous games. Seeing these classic tools return feels like DICE acknowledging what actually worked in the franchise.

Two mystery gadgets nobody can identify

The footage shows two gadgets that don’t match anything from previous Battlefield games. The first one looks like it could be some kind of deployable anti-air system. It’s got that boxy, technical appearance that screams, “I shoot things out of the sky.”

A SAM turret would be completely new territory for Battlefield. While Call of Duty has featured them as killstreaks for years, DICE has never given infantry their own deployable air defense. Attack helicopters and jets have been dominating ground troops since Bad Company 2, and having a placeable counter would finally give infantry squads some breathing room.

The second mystery gadget is bulkier and more complex-looking than the APS-36 trophy system from Battlefield 2042. That Irish gadget was compact and sleek, designed to fit his specialist kit. This new device looks like it means business, with a much more substantial frame and what appears to be multiple detection arrays.

If it is an upgraded trophy system, the size difference suggests it might cover a larger area or handle more incoming projectiles simultaneously. The APS-36 had a tiny 3-meter radius and could get overwhelmed pretty easily. A beefier version could actually protect entire squad positions instead of just individual players.

Both gadgets look unfinished in the footage, so there’s no telling if they’ll survive the development process. But seeing DICE experiment with defensive tools instead of just adding more explosive chaos is a welcome change from recent entries.

What’s your take on these leaked gadgets? Can you identify what those two mystery devices might be based on their appearance? Drop your thoughts below!
